Cairo - Arab Today

The Egyptian-South Korean Business Forum will kick off on May 5.

The forum will discuss ways of boosting bilateral economic cooperation and exploring investment opportunities in the infrastructure, energy projects and the Suez Canal, Chief Executive of the Egyptian Businessmen Association Mohamed Youssef said.

Organized by the Egyptian Businessmen Association and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), the forum is to be held under the auspices of Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil and South Korean Trade Minister Joo Hyung-hwan.

The forum will be attended by a number of well-known companies, notably Hyundai Cars, Samsung and SGS Construction, Youssef underlined.

A high-profile South Korean delegation comprising representatives of Hana Bank, the South Korean Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and the Seoul International Women's Association and others is due to participate in the forum, he asserted.
