Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will leave here on Monday to Addis Ababa to take part in a meeting by the Executive Council of Foreign Ministers in preparation for 24th Summit of the African Union.
During his visit, Shoukry is expected to meet with his Ethiopian counterpart Tedros Adhanom and representatives of the Nile basin countries.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will attend the summit slated for January 30-31.
The foreign affairs ministers will discuss a proposal to establish a dispute settlement body under the AU Commission, MENA learnt.
