The general secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) announced that a joint meeting of the 24 foreign ministers of the GCC and the European Union (EU) will be held in the Qatari capital Doha on Sunday.
In a statement issued by the general secretariat, it underlined that the meeting will take up regional and international issues of common interest as well as means of promoting bilateral relations.
The Gulf side will be led by the Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid al Attiyah, while the European delegation will be led by EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini.
