German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will meet his Tunisian counterpart Taib Baccouche here on Friday.
During the visit, the two sides will probe means of enhancing bilateral ties in all domains as well as the Libyan file which is one of the German government's priorities because it affects the security of Tunisia as one of Libya's neighboring countries.
They will also discuss combating terrorism issue, according to a statement issued by the German Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the German cabinet launched in July an initiative with the participation of the European Union countries to support protecting Tunisia's borders and its economy.
The initiative aimed also at saving the tourism sector which was harmed by the terrorist attacks that took place in Tunisia during the current year.
