A high-level Slovenian government delegation will visit Cairo in early December to be accompanied by a large number of investors and businesspersons to seek means to promote economic ties, Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil said.
A number of memos of understanding will be signed during the visit in the fields of investment and customer protection, Qabil said during a meeting with Slovenian Ambassador here Tania Miskova on Monday.
The business delegation will include CEOs of 15 major Slovenian companies working in different domains, especially agricultural development and electrical industries, he said.
He underlined the importance of establishing an Egyptian-Slovenian business council to serve economic cooperation between the two countries, the minister said.
For her part, Miskova said Slovenian companies are seeking to invest in the Egyptian market and have access to markets in Africa.
The Slovenian investment bank is ready to fund joint projects in the different fields, she added.
