Malaysia will host the 2016 Asia Pacific Regional Policy Forum on Early Childhood Care and Education (APFEC) next month, which is aimed at devising innovative strategies to improve the quality of childhood care and education.
The forum with the theme 'The Transformative Power of Early Childhood: Innovations for Inclusivity and Quality' will be held at the Marriot Hotel in Putrajaya from July 19-21, according to Malaysia's (Bernama) News Agency.
Education Minister Mahdzir Khalid said as the host to the forum which will be joined by 45 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, Malaysia will focus on aspects of quality in terms of curriculum, training of teachers, policies, and physical structures of schools or learning centres.
