The Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh will host on Wednesday proceedings of the second meeting of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation council, which will discuss means to up Kuwaiti investments in Egypt, especially the the Suez Canal corridor.
The council head, Jassem al Saqr said in statements on Tuesday the two-day meetings are given great importance by the Egyptian and Kuwaiti governments to increase joint investments within the framework of bilateral relations.
He said the Egyptian economy is witnessing positive changes making Egypt one of the most attractive countries for investments in the region.
Senior Egyptian officials will take part in the meetings including Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority Ahmed Darwish.
