Bradley Cooper will don an apron once again in the new film Burnt about a renowned chef who loses it all.
From director John Wells, the new film follows gifted chef Adam Jones as he moves from being on top of the culinary world to then hitting rock bottom due to his drug addiction and out-of-control behavior.
The trailer features Cooper talking over images of food being prepared as he mounts his comeback.
"I don't want my restaurant to be a place where you come and eat," he tells a colleague. "I want people to sit at that table and be sick with longing."
Part of that comeback involves opening up a new restaurant in London with the ultimate goal of earning three Michelin stars.
"Maybe I just wanted it really badly, and when I got it, I didn't know how to hold onto it," he says.
Cooper debuted the trailer Monday on the Today Show with its new title Burnt after originally being titled Chef and then Adam Jones.
This isn't the first time the American Sniper star has played in a kitchen set drama. Back in 2005, Cooper was the lead in Fox's short lived Kitchen Confidential
Burnt meets the silver screen October 23.
