Chris Pratt stars in a new photo from Jurassic World.
The 35-year-old actor looks sexy and serious as he gazes through bars in the movie still. Director Colin Trevorrow shared the picture Thursday night on Twitter. "See you next summer, Star-Lord," he wrote in reference to Pratt's character in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, and is also set on Isla Nublar. The island features a new dinosaur theme park called Jurassic World, which is owned and operated by the Patel Corporation.
Pratt portrays Owen, an on-site staff member who studies the behavior patterns of velociraptors. Bryce Dallas Howard co-stars as Beth, Jake Jonson as Lowery, Nick Robinson as Zach, Ty Simpkins as Gray, BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Irrfan Khan as the owner of Patel and Vincent D'Onofrio as the CFO of Patel.
The original Jurassic Park was directed by Steven Spielberg, and premiered in 1993. The Lost World followed in 1997, and Joe Johnston helmed 2001's Jurassic Park III. Jurassic World is scheduled for release June 12, 2015.
Pratt came to fame as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation, and will star in Guardians of the Galaxy, out August 1.
