Former Civil Wars singer Joy Williams started up her solo career without former band mate John Paul White by providing vocals on a remastered Paramore track, "Hate to See Your Heartbreak."
The country singer sang harmony with Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams in the track, which is a re-recording from the group's self-titled album from 2013.
The song will be included on the deluxe release of Paramore.
Hayley Williams told NPR the song is an ode to the "close friendship between women who share their stories with each other, and who lift each other up and understand one another.
The two singers, though they share a last name, aren't related. They have been good friends for more than a decade, though.
