The fashion industry is redefining the beauty standard of women's shapes and sizes.
In the first trailer released for the documentary Straight/Curve, models, agents, photographers, editors and stylists discuss the plus size model revolution.
The movie takes a closer look at the fashion world and it's evolution with featuring plus-sized models.
Even though models like Tess Holiday, who was featured in People magazine and Robyn Lawley, who made headlines in February for being the first plus-sized model to grace a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, are pioneering through the times where body diversity is slowly being accepted, there is still a long way to go.
Director Jenny McQuaile told Glamour, "When, how, and why did size zero become the norm when two thirds of women are considered 'plus-size' sitting between a size 10 to 14?"
She continued, "Our documentary will examine this question. There's always been a complex relationship between the fashion industry, the media, and body image and we're finally making a film that will investigate that."
