Egyptian singer Ali Hajjar will participate in Castel Festival for Music and Singing, which is in its 22nd year. He stated his concert was not canceled and it will be held on time on Wednesday September 5. Hajjar added in his declaration to Arabstoday: "The news about cancelling my performance at Castel festival due to a throat infection is not true. What was published are just wicked rumours by some haters." Hajjar stated, "I used to not reply to these kinds of rumours but I was forced to do so. Especially before performing my last concert at the el-Sawy Culture Wheel. These rumours aim to keep my fans away from me." Ali Hajjar told Arabstoday that his latest album, "Dehket Watan" (A Nation's Smile), includes a number of songs with the theme of nationalism.
