Recording artist Josh Groban led an ensemble of 175 Broadway performers in a stirring rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" during the "In Memoriam" tribute at the 2015 Tony Awards ceremony in New York Sunday night.
Costumed performers from various stage shows joined Groban in singing as photos of beloved artists who died in the last year flashed on a screen.
Among those remembered were Lauren Bacall, Ruby Dee, James Garner, Mike Nichols, Leonard Nimoy, Joan Rivers, Elaine Stritch, Eli Wallach and Robin Williams.
The Tony Awards honor excellence on Broadway. Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth hosted this year's gala.
