Lebanese singer Najwa Karam tells Arabstoday that there are many talented artists in the Arab world who could be breakout stars. She praised the reality singing contest Arab Idol for its professionalism, hisg standards and generating massive publicity. \"I\'m happy after being in season two of “Arabs got talent” on MBC after the phenomenal success of season one last year. One of the reasons for the show\'s success was fan support,\" said Karam. \"I didn’t feel guilty after season one as I was very fair with the participants and this motivated for me to go for season two,\" said the singer. Najwa also confirmed joining the “Anti-mediocrity party” formed by some artist and poets in Lebanon, including singer Ragheb Alama, composer Samir Sfeir and poet Nizar Francis. \"Lebanon is a country rich with art and creativity and we can’t distort its image with inappropriate work for any reason. Since there is innovation, why we should go for mediocre stuff?\" Najwa mentioned that her look in Arab Idol was a surprise for everyone and is a new style. She also refused to mention anything about her upcoming projects.
