H&M announced on Thursday that Katy Perry was chosen as the face of their 2015 holiday collection and it makes it feel like Christmas in July.
The Swedish fashion brand teased fans on Instagram Thursday when it posted six different photos of the pop princess leading up to the announcement that the "wonderfully talented" Katy Perry is the star of its campaign.
The "Roar" singer posted the full image, shot by Daniel Jackson, of her donning a cozy turtleneck sweater, adorned with snowflakes, writing, "Ladies, Gentlemen & unlabeled-let's take a petite pause on the beauteous summer we are experiencing & open our calendars tooooo...THE HOLIDAYS I am excited to announce that I will be starring in @hm's #HappyandMerry Holiday Campaign launching later this year!!! Stay tuned for the whole unwrapping! Tap for credits! (can't believe I already have holiday emojis in my most recently used emoji's...more shame)."
"H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style," Perry told WWD.
She added: "I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years. One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cozy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget."
