Idina Menzel will perform at the 2014 MLB All-Star Game.
The 43-year-old "Let It Go" singer will kick off the game at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minn., with her rendition of the national anthem. The All-Star Game is an annual, just-for-fun event between the National and American Leagues that takes place mid-season. Fans and managers vote to choose which players represent their leagues, and the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award is awarded to the most outstanding player in each year's game.
Menzel will also perform on-field during the pre-game ceremony to honor 30 winners from the "Target presents PEOPLE All-Star Teachers" program. She plans to sing "Forever Young" by Minnesota native Bob Dylan in recognition of current and retired teachers who have made a positive impact on their students and communities.
The 2014 MLB All-Star game airs July 15 on Fox at 7:30 p.m. ET.
