Lebanese singer Melhem Zein confirmed to Arabstoday that he will travel to Jordan to celebrate Independence Day. He said he wants to \"travel to Jordan to celebrate Jordanian Independence Day, as well as the birthday of the Crown Prince of Jordan.\" Melhem revealed he was invited by the Jordanian Government and that the ceremony is expected to include a number of Arab Artists. \"There are close ties between me and the people in Jordan, as in all the Arab countries I visited.\" Melhem added. On his recent trip to trip to Qatar, where he was prevented from entering the country, he explained that the incident didn\'t affect his love and respect for the Qatari people who he described as \"educated and classy\" and added: \"Politics divides but art brings together.”
