No duet for Barakat and Karam

Sources confirmed to Arabstoday that rumours of a new duet between Lebanese musicians Melhem Barakat and Najwa Karam are not true. Apparently, in fact, they had absolutely no basis at all. "The two artists took different views following rumours of a duet featuring them,” explained the source, “but in the end they proved it was incorrect.” The rumours caused a rift between the two artists after Melhem angered Najwa by not denying the rumours in the media.
