The details of the release of “Raees” film trailer are finally out. “Raees” stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistan’s Mahira Khan.
According to First Post, the film is slated to release on the last Friday of January but the trailer has not been released yet, though a small teaser was released last year.
The teaser evoked excitement among the fans who were eagerly awaiting and speculating the release of the teaser.
Reports say the trailer will be released in nine Indian cities on Dec. 7. Shah Rukh Khan will address his fans in these cities through video conferencing.
The nine cities handpicked by Shah Rukh Khan will be Delhi, Indore, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, Moga and Ahmedabad, where portions of the film have been shot.
The fans across the length and breadth of the country will get to witness the trailer and a bonus live chat with Shah Rukh Khan next month, and deservedly so.
They have been eagerly waiting for the trailer which was originally scheduled to be released on Nov. 2, Shah Rukh’s birthday.
There were reports that the trailer will be attached to his film “Dear Zindagi,” which is slated to release on Nov. 25. However, in a report by DNA, Shah Rukh Khan denied the plan and added that the makers will release it in December through a unique marketing plan.
Last month, the trailer of Aditya Chopra’s Befikre was released via a live event held in Paris.
What remains to be seen is how the marketing plan of the “Raees” trailer launch will impact the film, after it was consciously decided to postpone its release.
Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan released the trailer of Kaabil, the Hrithik Roshan starrer scheduled to clash with “Raees” at the box office, almost a month ago.
