Bollywood Parks Dubai, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park destination in the region, concluded the making of the ride videos by launching a thrilling 4D multi-sensory virtual theater ride — Ra.One Unleashed, inspired by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s sci-fi film ‘Ra.One’.
Taking the visitors through a behind-the-scenes of what’s to come, Khan is seen shooting for the opening sequence of the ride, “Ladies and gentleman, welcome! You stand on the threshold of the future.”
Explaining the ride to the audience, Khan said, “It’s an experience that supposedly is happening in Shekhar Studios. He is trying to give a presentation when things go wrong and Ra.One comes back. As he should! Bad guys should always come back to revive a film! The fun part starts, when they try to save everyone who is going to be watching this spectacle and avoid any eminent danger.”
He further added, “Some of the bits and pieces, the take offs and dialogues will use my face for the ride and are being shot right here right now.”
It will be the first time ever that a theme park has collaborated with the big wigs of the Indian film industry to bring together an unforgettable experience with all things Bollywood.
Giving the audience a glimpse into his fun yet dedicated personality, Shah Rukh Khan confesses that he has never been a fan of the black overalls one has to wear while shooting for VFX, “I have a clause in my film making that I will never wear the silly suit that you’re supposed to wear for VFX, I look like a half-baked zebra crossing, and I hate it, I detest it, but you got to do, what you got to do.”
