Universal Pictures has released the first teaser for Steve Jobs, its biopic starring Michael Fassbender as the titular technology visionary.
Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle helmed the film, which features Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. It co-stars Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston and Michael Stuhlbarg.
Set for release Oct. 9, the big-screen adaptation of Walter Isaacson's best-selling book was penned by The West Wing and The Newsroom scribe Aaron Sorkin.
"Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, the film takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter," a studio synopsis said.
Jobs died of pancreatic cancer in 2011. He was 56.
