John Malkovich and Toni Collette have joined Michael Douglas, Noomi Rapace and Orlando Bloom in the thriller Unlocked.
Michael Apted is directing the film, which is based on a screenplay by Peter O'Brien. It is being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, alongside Georgina Townsley and Erik Howsam. Claudia Blumhuber is also producing, as well as financing through Silver Reel. Bloom first introduced the film to buyers at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
"We are thrilled to have John and Toni's unmatchable talent join our already outstanding cast. This additional caliber combined with our fresh and smart European script models a unique and dynamic package that is bound to excite audiences worldwide," Bloom's Alex Walton said in a statement.
The movie is about a female CIA interrogator, who unwittingly provides information to terrorists and then must race against the clock to stop a biological warfare attack on London, a synopsis said.
