DreamWorks Pictures and Fox 2000 have released the first trailer for their upcoming, fact-based, dramatic thriller Bridge of Spies, starring Tom Hanks.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, the movie tells the story of James Donovan, a Brooklyn lawyer "who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot," a synopsis said.
The film was written by Matt Charman, and Ethan Coen and Joel Coen. It co-stars Mark Rylance, Amy Ryan, Scott Shepherd, Sebastian Koch and Alan Alda.
The movie is slated for release in theaters on Oct. 16.
