Renowned Syrian actor Abdurrahman Al Rashi was escorted to his final resting place in al-Sheikh Khaled cemetery in Rukn Eddin area in a solemn procession that set out from Hisham Sinan Hospital in Damascus. The prominent Syrian actor Abdurrahman Al Rashi passed away at the age of 83 at Hisham Sinan Hospital in Damascus due to respiratory complications. With his passing away, the Syrian drama has lost an outstanding actor who enriched the Syrian drama, cinema and theater and left an indelible mark on the Syrian art. Al Rashi is one of the founding members of the Syrian Artists Guild. His credits include acting in over 200 TV series and movies, and his booming, distinct voice allowed him to perform a number of songs throughout his career, mostly patriotic songs and anthems.
