Egyptian actor Ahmed Safwat has expressed his delight at reactions to his latest the film which opened during last Eid al-Adha. He said that the public were very keen to see the follow-up. The young actor asserted to Arabstodaythat he is against participating in on-screen nudity, particularly because he has fans who are children. He said that he would not take roles which “degrade or corrupt society,” as a matter of personal ethical standards. Safwat said that he had not sensed the changes that he had hoped to see from Egypt’s “Second Revolution,” and wished for an end to violent events which broke out as a result of the president’s recent decisions. He called for “each political force to agree to put Egypt's interests first” noting that the country is now in a position to get back on track.
