Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation, Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, said the Embassy's efforts will continue until Bahraini citizens get an exemption from entry visa requirements for all of the Russian Federation regions including Moscow.
Bahrain is among 18 countries whose nationals have been permitted to enter under the scheme announced by Russia exclusively for Russia's Far East region, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) learnt from the Ambassador.
This visa exemption exclusively applies for Russia's Far East located at a distance of about 6500 kilometres away from the capital Moscow, approximately nine hours plane flight or one week if travelling by train, he added. Bahraini businesspeople, investors and tourists can visit the Russian Far East without the need for prior visas.
