The first direct charter flight from Germany's Munich landed in Luxor Thursday with 150 German tourists on board.
Three other flights from Germany are expected to reach the city later in the day from the international airports of Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Schenefeld with some 350 other German tourists on board.
According to head of the public relations at Luxor International Airport Bekhiet Hassan, the German tourists are expected to visit tourist attractions on the western and eastern banks of the Nile in the city.
