Chairperson of Egypt’s Ahly team Mahmoud Taher refuted the claims over referring the club’s former board to the prosecution describing them as malicious rumors. He stressed that the current board will not to use such approach against any of the club’s officials.
Taher expressed his appreciation to the former board headed by Hassan Hamdy, saying that there are simple violations monitored by the report of Central Auditing Agency, as the former board will respond to them. He stressed that the current board will express solidarity with the former board.
He added that the club’s sons will not stand against each other before the courts or media channels, saying that the current board has not the right to take any decisions to refer the former board to prosecution.
