Coach Abdelhak Benchikha
Algerian side Mouloudia's coach Abdelhak Benchikha has decided to step down from his post and return to working as a television sports analyst.
According to Algerian daily newspaper Elheddaf
, the former Algeria coach took the decision after the club’s recent disappointing results in the domestic league, as well as financial and administrative restraints at the club.
Earlier in September, Mouloudia officially announced that they signed a two-year contract with Benchikha to replace Abdelhak Meklati.
The 51-year-old tactician stood down as manager of Algeria following the crushing 4-0 defeat at the hands of arch rivals Morocco in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Marrakech last June.
Under the guidance of Benchikha, Mouloudia won two games only as they were defeated in three and drawn in one.
