Horse Racing John Gosden saddles the only Classic entry, Musawama, as five horses contest the Derby trial at Epsom on Wednesday. The Azamour colt faces Borug, Planet Waves, Slumber and Weapon of Choice in the contest over a mile and
two furlongs (1510 BST). Gosden has won two of the last four runnings of the race, with Debussy (2009) and Raincoat (2007). Richard Hills rides Musawama, who has won two all-weather races this year - at Lingfield and Kempton. His two main rivals look to be David Simcock\'s Weapon Of Choice and Godolphin representative Borug, who will be ridden by Frankie Dettori.
Weapon Of Choice was well-backed when opening his account at Goodwood before disappointing in a Pontefract Listed race, while Borug has been fifth and third in his Dubai runs this year.
The experienced Planet Waves represents Clive Brittain, while Barry Hills will hope Slumber can improve on last September\'s debut when he was 10th of 16 at Newbury. While it is one of the earliest trials for the Derby in June, the race has not produced any winners of the Classic in recent years. Workforce won the 2010 Derby, in record time, having finished runner-up in the Dante Stakes at York behind Cape Blanco. Frankel, trained by Henry Cecil, is favourite to win this year\'s race on 4 June.
