MAS looking to repeat last year FUS of Rabat\'s glory
Moroccan club side MAS de Fes left it very late to book a place in this season’s Orange CAF Confederation final after beating Angolan side Interclube 1-0 in the second leg semi-final. Chem Eddine
Chtaibi scored in the 97th minute the all important goal that tie the aggregate score at 2-2. MAS qualified on away goals rule after losing the first leg in Luanda by 2-1 score line. The Angolans had restricted the hosts and looked like would continue their fairly tell run in the competition until that sucker punch, that now leaves MAS to face Tunisia’s Club Africain in the two legged final to be played next month and in the first week of December.
Interestingly the final of the top tier African club competition ( Champions league) will also feature clubs from Tunisia and Morocco namely Esperance and Wydad respectively
