Serena Williams has not played since July of 2010
Thirteen-time major winner Serena Williams is scheduled to make a return from injury when she plays in the World TeamTennis event in July, according to the WTT website.
The WTT website has Williams playing July 7 in Washington, DC and two days later at Sacramento, California. Her sister Venus is also scheduled to play on the same Kastles team with Serena.
Serena has not played since July of 2010 after undergoing foot surgey and then developing blood clots in her lung.
World TeamTennis is a nine-team league that was founded by Billie Jean King. The event runs from July 4-24.
