An economic expert revealed that the resources in Sana’a along with incomes, communications, taxes and customs are all controlled by the Houthis ,who use these resources for their own benefits ,adding that the same process happens in Aden ,but under different names such as “Supporting the resistance”. Yemen is know for its economic resources, but these resources didn’t witness any improvement and are controlled by corrupted Houthis ,while high officials fight over these resources ,the people struggle in the current situation of the country ,as the benefits of the resources which considered to be millions do not go for any government accounts. Media presenter , Fathi Ben Azraq says that the daily taxes revenues in Aden are huge and they all go to corrupted officials while the people is starving.These practices happen in front of the government and local authorities ,yet no one moves a finger. An expert in Yemeni economic state mentioned that the government in Aden won’t last long if the things continue this way ,adding that the government won’t be able to pay employers’ salaries because the country has no resources . Other experts believe that due to the economic instability and Houthis domination ,the Yemeni economy will witness a collapse of the riyal against foreign currencies.
