Minaj supports MAC London - Arabstoday MAC Cosmetics has announced that they will double their contribution to World AIDS Day. On Saturday, December 1 MAC Cosmetics will match all VIVA GLAM product sales on any of the ecommerce sites, for a double donation. Typically one VIVA GLAM purchase can buy five meals for a person living with HIV but with MAC Cosmetics’ donation match a VIVA GLAM lipstick purchased online can buy 10 meals. John Demsey, Chairman of the MAC AIDS Fund said: “MAC’s commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS occurs 365 days a year through the sales of our VIVA GLAM products. This year on World AIDS Day, we\'re is going to make an even bigger impact by giving twice the money to our AIDS Fund.” To date the fund has reportedly raised more than $270 million dollars which have helped men, women and children globally living with HIV/AIDS. Additionally, in the week leading up to World AIDS Day, MAC Cosmetics employees around the world will put away their make-up brushes and participate in an annual company-wide volunteer effort. “The company is bonded by our commitment to the MAC AIDS Fund, it\'s the heart and soul of the brand,” said Nancy Mahon, Global Executive Director of the MAC AIDS Fund and Senior Vice President of MAC Cosmetics. During the week leading up to World AIDS Day the fund will take over MAC’s Twitter handle @MACcosmetics to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS.
