London - Arabstoday

Amato take the runway at WLFW, Abu Dhabi World Luxury Fashion Week completed its four-day schedule on a high note with Amato’s show. Amato had their collection shipped from Los Angeles just in time to close WLFW, which took place 25-28 November 2012 at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers , Abu Dhabi.
The dramatic finale show ‘Confessions of Mata Hari’ featured Dubai-based designer Amato’s dazzlingly crafted designs, spotlighting silver and gold motifs, with models wearing jewel-encrusted masks, spikes, studs, crystals, and metallic fabrics.
World Luxury Fashion Week presented collections from haute couture houses Jean Paul Gaultier, Giambattista Valli, Alexis Mabille and On Aura Tout Vu.
Prêt-à-porter brands, such as Carolina Herrera NY, DAS Collections, Ermanno Scervino, Herve Leger, Nina Ricci, Paul Ka “Black Carpet” Collection and Walid Atallah were equally well received.
The event innovated in catwalk production with a U-shaped runway that allowed front row VIP positioning for all guests in attendance.
