Paris Fashion Week
Bill Gaytten, former designer John Galliano's temporary replacement, was again at the helm of Christian Dior's fashion collection during Paris Fashion Week, directing a demure and
play-it-safe show. Eighteenth century dandy highwaymen and louche libertines were the theme for the autumn/winter season. ladylike collection filled with subtle hues, black, platform sandals and fur handbags. Christian Dior took hemlines below the knee and offered subtle colors such as muted rose, pale pink, grey and soft lilac. Mid-length skirt with a belted jacket and a neat-waist dress with a full skirt flaring into knife-pleats.
Gaytten chose Karlie Kloss to close the show.
The collection was simple but very elegant and glamorous.
