Angelina Jolie is known for her signature look
From Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn to Marilyn Monroe, the cat-eye liner style was the most favorite for style icons from the 50s and 60s and the retro look is making its way back through Hollywood
and Arab celebrities.
Cat-eyes were a big hit on the Autumn/Winter 2012 catwalks, with the likes of Kenzo, Erdem and Moschino. Many stars use this style of make-up including Angelina Jolie, Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna among others.
It is also a big hit among rab stars like Haifa Wehbe, Cyrine Abed El Nour and Miriam Fares.
We will give you some easy tips to apply this style:
Apply concealer onto the area under the eyes, then take sharp eyeliner or a liquid one with a thin, easy-to-use brush. Then apply the chosen eyeliner, better with your eyes open so that you can see how your line will look. Make the line as close to the lashes as possible, trying to follow your natural lash line. As you reach the outer corner of the eye, slowly tip the line up, and thicken it a bit. For a natural look, make a thinner line, but for a more dramatic look, make the line fatter.
For creating a smoky cat-eyed look, simply apply a dark eye shadow of required colour over the top of your line towards the brow bone and blend the edges of the eye shadow and the eyeliner to make the verge invisible.
