Louis Vuitton recommends rolling up T-shirts and light jerseys
Louis Vuitton is taking advantage of Fendi’s recent move further up the Avenue Montaigne to open a pop-up unit dedicated to travel at its sister brand’s former home at No. 22
.
Slated to open September 12 through December 31, the unit, dubbed L’Aventure, was conceived in collaboration with editor Tyler Brûlé and his team at Winkreative.
In addition to showcasing an array of luggage, exclusive travel accessories and fashion looks, the unit will also highlight Vuitton City Guides and offer services ranging from personalisation to on-site repairs. Also expect demonstrations of the “art of packing,” the founder’s original claim to fame.
In case you’re curious what Brûlé considers the perfect suitcase, it would be a well-proportioned carry-on containing a T-shirt from Sifr, briefs from Palmers, Tabio socks, a Pelikamo sweater and a stash of Salvatore Piccolo shirts.
