With the Armani Runway beauty collection, due to go on sale in mid-February, the Italian luxury brand invites makeup fans to replicate the looks seen in its Spring-Summer 2015 fashion show.
This special collection was designed by Giorgio Armani International Makeup Artist Linda Cantello, who experimented with new colors and textures backstage at the show using the Armani Runway Lab, the portable makeup creation studio invented for the Giorgio Armani fashion shows.
As the makeup artist explains, the Armani Runway Lab accompanies her backstage at the Italian label's runway shows, allowing her to create new colors on the spot as needed. Naturally, these new shades are in perfect harmony with the season's fashion collection. Now, six months after the Spring-Summer 2015 show, Giorgio Armani is preparing to launch some of the exclusive colors created live on the models.
Like the corresponding ready-to-wear line, the new makeup is directly inspired by nature, with a particular emphasis on colors associated with sand. The collection includes three products: a face-and-eye palette (with a shimmery face powder and an eyeshadow trio of taupe, silver, and rose-gold-tinted beige), as well sheer lipstick and nail polish in complementary shades.
The Armani Runway makeup collection will go on sale starting in mid-February at a selection of exclusive stores. Prices range from €30 (around $34) to €105 (around $120).
