Penelope stuns as the face of “Campari” calendar

Behind the scenes shots Penelope Cruz has just been announced as the face of the 2012 “Campari” calendar, which saw her take part in a glamorous photo shoot led by fashion photographer Kristian Schuller .
The 38-year-old actress is the 14th celebrity to be featured as the leading lady of the calendar. She follows in the footsteps of Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba, and Milla Jovovich, among others.
“I have really enjoyed working on this project for one of the world’s most iconic brands, particularly with such an amazing history attached to it,” Cruz says in a statement. “The theme in itself is intense, captivating and chic.”
Wearing no other color but red, Penelope is the image of the legendary Audrey Hepburn in her hair, face and way of posing.
The “Campari” Calendar is one of the world’s most renowned artistic calendars and is printed in international limited edition of only 9,999 copies. The theme of this year’s calendar will be released this Fall.
