A eye-opening video highlighting the effects of UV rays on skin has been created by pioneering French dermo-cosmetic brand, Bioderma to raise awareness of the importance of effective sun protection and the need to use sunscreen whenever we’re outdoors.
The movie, which has already enjoyed almost 100,000 views online, was filmed during Bioderma’s Beach Day Out held in Dubai at the beginning of summer. Beachgoers at the event crowded the Bioderma stand to be filmed by the UV camera, enabling them to see the exact effects the sun has had on their skin. They then applied Bioderma’s revolutionary new Photoderm MAX Aquafluide sunscreen to their skin to see the effectiveness of using sunscreen to shield your skin from harmful UV rays.
Understanding the importance of sun protection is vital in order to preserve our skin’s health but many of us still find some suncare products unpleasant to use – too thick, leaves a white residue, or too greasy in texture due to various ingredients contained in the formula.
Bioderma’s Photoderm MAX Aquafluide sunscreen is an ultra-light, easily absorbed lotion that disappears without a trace, but offers exceptional sun protection.
The Bioderma UV video can be viewed on the Bioderma Facebook or YouTube channels.
