Following its spring collection on the theme of desire (Désir de Jour), Yves Saint Laurent has turned up the heat for summer with Terre Saharienne, a makeup line inspired by the captivating colors of Morocco.
For this new collection, YSL creative director of makeup Lloyd Simmonds drew from the rich and vibrant colors of Northern Africa, including henna brown, ochre yellow, coral, blue and wine red.
A natural glow
An essential part of any summer beauty look, a healthy sun-kissed glow is at the heart of the new Yves Saint Laurent collection thanks to Les Sahariennes, a patented powder-balm bronzer. Formulated to cover up imperfections, the product smooths out skin texture while improving radiance. Seven shades are available to match every complexion.
The Couture Palette Collector - N°12 Mauresques offers a series of warm and luminous eyeshadows, including three intense browns, a peach and a pale yellow.
The Terre Saharienne line also includes two new Shocking Effet Faux Cils eyeliners (Majorelle Blue and Deep Green), two new Gloss Volupté lip glosses (Orange Sagatte and Bordeaux Sarouel), two new shades of Baby Doll Kiss & Blush (Audacious Orange and Oriental Beige) and two new La Laque Couture nail polishes (Brun Henné and Jaune Babouche).
The new products go on sale starting in May at prices ranging from €23.50 (La Laque Couture) to €61 (Couture Palette Collector).
