Saudi Arabia supplies Gaza Strip in Palestine with medical aid
The first aid trucks from the Egyptian Red Crescent charity arrived at Rafah’s land port in Palestine on Monday.The vehicles were loaded with nearly 11 tons of medicine and medical supplies provided by Saudi Arabia for the Palestinian people
besieged in the Gaza Strip.The regions hospitals and medical centres have suffered a shortage of pharmaceuticals due to the on-going conflict. The supplies delivery was coordinated between the Egyptian North Sinai branch and the Palestinians Red Crescent in Gaza.
On Monday morning Al Arish International Airport in Egypt received the first batch of medical aid from Saudi Arabia, which will continue delivering supplies daily to Palestine for the next two weeks.
The overall amount of medical supplies and aid is valued at around ten million Saudi Riyals and totals nearly 140 tons of medicines.
