Al Majaz Waterfront
Al Majaz Waterfront, one of the premier tourist and leisure destinations in Sharjah, will celebrate Eid Al Adha with a three-day celebration from the 15th - 17th of October. The highlight of the festivities will be a fountain show called
\"Ahmed Al Majaz\", during which spectators will meet Ahmed the Turtle - who lives under the fountains at Al Majaz - as well as a number of other colourful and entertaining characters. The show will be presented daily at 7:05 pm, 8:35 pm, 9:35 pm, and 11:00 pm in both Arabic and English and will run interspersed with the regular shows of the Sharjah fountain.
Visitors to the popular destination can also look forward to a spectacular fireworks extravaganza on the 15th of October at 10:30pm, while special performances featuring Harbeya, Ayala and Laiwa traditional bands will keep revelers entertained on the 15th 16th and 17th respectively. The bands will be performing at 6:30pm, 8:00pm, 9:00pm and 10:00pm during the three-day celebrations of Eid. Al Majaz Waterfront will also be hosting its regular selection fun-filled entertainment to keep the whole family entertained.
Speaking of the three-day celebration, Mohammed Fadhil Al Mazroui, Manager of Al Majaz Waterfront, said, \"Al Majaz Waterfront has become a cornerstone of Eid celebrations in Sharjah. Throughout our various events and festivities we have tried to highlight the true meaning of Eid, including giving and sharing, and the value of celebrating with those dear to us. We believe that our exciting line-up of events will offer something for all the family to enjoy.\" The Al Majaz Waterfront, Shurooq\'s debut project, is situated in Sharjah\'s most vital and commercial district on the picturesque Khalid Lagoon. As one of the premier tourist and leisure destinations in Sharjah, it plays host to all major events in the emirate.
