Make A Wish Foundation has organised a trip for Kuwaiti child, Ali Saleh, to the Ferrari World on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, to visit along with all the children who participated in the Basma (smile) eighth camp for children with diabetes in the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah.
The move comes as part of the Foundation's commitment to bring happiness to the greatest possible number of sick children of citizens as well as residents.
The Foundation made the necessary arrangements for the visit of about 200 children and their supervisors to the Ferrari World, where they were received by Jesse Vargas, General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, who welcomed them. They all had a lunch prepared specifically for children suffering from diabetes.
Saleh and the other children toured the Ferrari World and had fun. They were overwhelmed with joy in the world's largest theme park, which includes more than 20 games and entertainment facilities for all ages within the fully air-conditioned space.
Saleh expressed his delight at this exciting and interesting trip, one that he had dreamed of a long time ago and which came true, thanks to the Foundation which fulfilled his wish to visit the Ferrari World with the rest of the children of the camp, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone.
The Foundation fulfilled the wishes of the children in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Adviser to the President, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Customs Department and Chairman of the Free Zone Authority in Ras Al Khaimah.
Established in 2003, the Foundation fulfils wishes of children who suffer from a chronic life-threatening diseases.
