Americans are the most frequent business travellers
London - Arabstoday

Americans are the most frequent business travellers A study by Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has revealed that business travellers are the best at keeping in touch with people they have met on trips abroad. In a survey of over 6,000 business professionals from the United States, United Kingdom, China, India, Germany and Brazil, 64 percent said they tended to maintain contact with people they met on flights  or in hotels.
However, despite business travellers admitting to be open to meeting new people while abroad, 61 percent said they would prefer to travel alone rather than with a work colleague.
Forty-eight percent of business travellers said they prefer to spend time socialising in the hotel bar, rather than using the gym or spa facilities.
According to Sheraton, Americans are the most frequent business travellers with more than a third saying they travelled abroad for work ten or more times a year.
Over half of the Chinese business professionals surveyed said they were open to taking a flight with a business colleague whilst 70 percent admitted to maintaining contact with strangers they met whilst abroad. According to the Sheraton survey, Brazilian business travellers are the least sociable with just 31 percent saying they would travel with a colleague, and 30 percent stating they would socialise at a hotel bar or lounge.
