Escape into the brilliant blue of Baros Maldives\' lagoon The Festive Season in the Tropics is an unforgettable experience – especially when celebrated in the warmth and peaceful tranquillity of Baros Maldives, miles away from normal routine. Baros Maldives is a small exclusive coral island in the Indian Ocean ringed by a sun-kissed beach and a vibrant house-reef, just 20 minutes by speedboat from Maldives International Airport. It is a multi award-winning elegant boutique Maldives resort with a long history of outstanding service excellence.
As a small leading Maldives luxury resort, Baros offers a choice of exquisite Beach and Water Villas. With Beach Villas of classic natural elegance, many with private pools, set in lush vegetation, and secluded Water Villas of tranquillity, Baros Maldives is one of the most romantic resorts in the Maldives, the perfect honeymoon getaway. Inspired by Maldivian traditions of heartfelt hospitality, Baros Maldives excels with the finest contemporary cuisine, tailor-made excursions, amazing underwater experiences and a delightful Spa making it one of the best resorts in the Maldives.
At Baros Maldives (www.baros.com) for this festive season, guests are invited to enjoy Tropical Delights in harmony with nature, combining traditional seasonal activities with the benefits and blessings of a blissful island setting.
At Baros Maldives, the theme of Tropical Delights featured in the season’s special programme enhances the traditional celebrations, retaining the seasonal feeling of joy and goodwill.
Baros Maldives has the reputation of offering personalised service and attention to every guest, adding to the exciting experience of Tropical Delights to be enjoyed only at Baros Maldives.
Guests are invited to relax, slow down and cast cares away, and to discover the delights and highlights of this Festive Season on this tiny Tropical Paradise. There is dining in the moonlight under the stars or on a cruise on the traditional and luxurious dhoni, Nooma; and dancing the night away to the romantic rhythm of cool music from visiting bands. At Baros Maldives, guests can simply enjoy all the Tropical Delights on offer, making the Festive Season holiday at this naturally unique resort truly memorable.
Highlights:
Restaurant Under The Stars
On special evenings during this festive season the resort will open a pop-up restaurant in the middle of the Indian Ocean where guests can experience a special sandbank dinner under the stars.
Traditional Nooma Sunset Cruise with Champagne
As one of the many Tropical Delights available, resort guests can enjoy an evening cruise on the 19m-long “Nooma” – a luxurious boat modelled on the traditional Maldivian sailing dhoni - with a sarong-clad crew. Comfortable cushions are spread out on the deck where guests can laze and savour champagne and canapés served by a dedicated steward while viewing the spectacular sunset at sea.
More Tropical Delights
Gala Dinners in the Palm Garden; cool, live music throughout the Festive Season; and tropical theme nights including Maldivian, Asian and Seafood specialities.
7th Anniversary of The New Baros Maldives, December 26.
Baros celebrates its Seventh Anniversary since its remodelling in December. Actually, the resort traces its origins back 39 years, to December 1973 when it became only the third island in the Maldives to open for holidaymakers. From the original coral stone and palm-thatched cabanas, the resort was remodelled seven years ago to offer refined, luxurious accommodation in a lush, tranquil, pure Maldivian setting.
Baros is still Maldivian owned and operated, bringing the heartfelt values of genuine island hospitality to discerning guests from around the world. To celebrate the anniversary, all resort guests are invited to join the Baros management team for cocktails in the Palm Garden on 26 December.
