Nissan wants to highlight undiscovered talent in the Middle East
Nissan Middle East is offering up-and-coming young artists the opportunity to showcase their talent at the launch of its next new car.
Those with the flair, creativity and expertise
to be selected will have a unique chance to kick-start their careers by creating original artwork \'live\' in front of hundreds of spectators in September this year, offering the possibility of being discovered by the region\'s artistic community. These masterpieces will then be displayed at subsequent exhibitions to which thousands more visitors are expected to attend.
Syed Ahmed, Director, Marketing, Nissan Middle East said: \"At Nissan, we strive to offer excitement in everything we do - not just in our innovative product range, but in all our activities. The opportunity we are offering talented Middle Eastern artists today exemplifies this philosophy and complements our Nissan models. I extend my best wishes to all participants, and we look forward to this exciting competition.\"
\"We expect this initiative will exchange and develop artistic ideas and experiences across the region. It is a competition that will bring to light as yet undiscovered talent in the Middle East, and will encourage and expand the understanding of art by everyone. It will also give young artists a chance to shine and become known for their skills,\" Syed concluded.
Five inspirational artists will be chosen from UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, and Lebanon with events taking place simultaneously across the Middle East. Eligible to entrants who are amateur or aspiring (not professional) artists aged between eighteen and twenty-four, participants will be chosen after the artwork is evaluated and short-listed. The competition is open to all artists of various styles.
