Riyadh - Arabstoday

Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of Executive Committee of Ensan SRMG chairman Prince Faisal bin Salman honored outstanding students of Ensan Charitable Society for Orphans Care in various fields of studies at a function in Riyadh on Tuesday.During the awards ceremony, the prince, who is chairman of the executive committee of Ensan, also signed an  agreement with Ahmed Fahd Al-Jaber, chairman of Azmil Infrastructure Co., which will be funding Ensan students to follow special educational programs at Prince Salman University in Al-Kharj. Abdul Rahman Al-Azmi, general director of Prince Salman University, was present at the signing ceremony.

An official from Ensan said the idea of the program is to prepare students to suit the local needs of the Saudi employment market.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Abdullah Al-Otaibi, an Ensan student, said the support provided by the society gives them hope. A 10-minute documentary was screened to depict the progressive steps of the society. The show also portrayed the continuous contributions made by former Riyadh Gov. and current Defense Minister Prince Salman toward the society’s development.
Prince Faisal also honored philanthropists and institutions that have contributed toward the progress of Ensan. They included chairman of Azmil Infrastructure Company Ahmed Fahd Al-Jaber, Al-Anoud Charitable Foundation and Prince Salman University.
In November, Prince Faisal signed an agreement in Riyadh with Mundir Al-Khaledi Contracting Co. to establish a tower in Zulfi. The building will be constructed in two years at a cost of SR51 million.
In a statement on the occasion, Prince Faisal said the charity has embarked on a strategy to establish endowment buildings that would meet 50 percent of the organization’s annual expenditure.
“We have made a lot of progress in this project. We currently own a number of endowment buildings including the first Ensan Tower located on King Fahd Road in Riyadh. We have rented this tower to Saudi Electricity Company,” the prince said.
