Egyptian activist Asmaa Mahfouz, credited for sparking the mass Egyptian uprising that led to Hosni Mubarek’s ousting, has visited the EU parliament this week to discuss the revolution
in Egypt .
The 26 year old will receive the global Sakharov prize for freedom of expression.
Speaking to parliamentarians this week ,she said the Egyptian January 25 Revolution hasn’t reached its target yet. She added many of her comrades can’t trust Egypt’s ruling military council to fight for their case.
